Pathfinders Work on Honors at Sunday Meeting

The El Paso Flames Pathfinder Club has been learning about different skills this semester. Within Pathfinders, there are different classes, or honors, that they work on, earning badges at the end of the year.

This semester the club has been working on four different honors: Soapcraft, Christian Drama, Music, and Barbering and Hairstyling.

The Barbering and Hairstyling has been the one getting the most attention. While the other classes have been taught either by staff or volunteers, this class has been put on by two of the TLTs (Teen Leadership Training), Bengie Romero and Leo Obeso. While other teens their age might not want to take on the responsibility, these two have been working hard to make sure to get all the requirements of the class covered, including bringing in professionals to help.

“These two have been really going above and beyond to make sure to keep their class interesting and relevant”, says Chris Clapp, the director of the club. “They have been doing a great job – I’ve been impressed!”
